Understanding Product & Service Data

To help you understand the Product and Service information available through Adhesion Connect for Jobber we've put together the following outline. Each data component includes the field type and a description below it to help you understand how to best use the information in your integrations and automations.

Products and Services

The collection of attributes that represent a Product or Service.

Fields

category

Field Type: string (text, numbers, and/or special characters stored as text)
Description: The Product or Service's category.

default_unit_cost

Field Type: decimal
Description: The default per unit cost for the Product or Service.

description

Field Type: string (text, numbers, and/or special characters stored as text)
Description: The description for the Product or Service.

duration

Field Type: integer
Description: The duration of the Service in minutes.

id

Field Type: string (text, numbers, and/or special characters stored as text)
Description: The unique identifier from Jobber for the Product or Service.

internal_unit_cost

Field Type: decimal
Description: The default internal unit cost for the Product or Service.

markup

Field Type: decimal
Description: The default markup for the Product or Service.

name

Field Type: string (text, numbers, and/or special characters stored as text)
Description: The name of the Product or Service.

online_booking_sort_order

Field Type: integer
Description: The sort order of the Service on the online booking page.

online_booking_enabled

Field Type: boolean (true/false)
Description: Identifies whether the Service is enabled for online booking.

quantity_range

Description: The quantity range for the Product or Service when created through online booking.
  1. minimum

Field Type: integer
Description: The minimum quantity (inclusive) that can be selected when booking this Product or Service online.
  1. maximum

Field Type: integer
Description: The maximum quantity (inclusive) that can be selected when booking this Product or Service online.
  1. enabled

Field Type: boolean (true/false)
Description: Identifies whether the quantity range will be used when booking this Product or Service online.

taxable

Field Type: boolean (true/false)
Description: Identifies whether the Product or Service is taxable.

visible

Field Type: boolean (true/false)
Description: Identifies whether the Product or Service will show up as an autocomplete suggestion on Quotes, Jobs, or Invoices.

event_type

Field Type: string (text, numbers, and/or special characters stored as text)
Description: The Jobber event that happened (Product Create/Product Update).
